Chapter 16. Creating a Web Page

In this chapter, you’ll create a single web page for the REACH company. Other pages will be linked to this page, so you’ll create navigation links that allow users to visit the other pages in the site. You’ll also utilize some other elements that you created in previous projects.

Although you’ll be building the web page itself in Dreamweaver using HTML and CSS, most web designs include images—and it’s much easier to plan the outcome you want by creating a visual mockup before beginning to build the site. Any needed graphics can be created from the mockup. Some web designers use Illustrator or Fireworks for this purpose; others choose Photoshop. It’s a matter of personal taste.
