Appendix D. T-SQL Reserved Words

The T-SQL implementation of SQL is made up of keywords—special words that are used in performing SQL operations. Special care must be taken not to use these keywords when you are naming databases, tables, columns, and any other database objects. Thus, these keywords are considered reserved. This appendix lists T-SQL reserved words, including ODBC reserved keywords as well as words that Microsoft has reserved for future use.
