Q&A

Q. Can I work in disconnected mode for browser-enabled InfoPath forms?

A. Browser-enabled InfoPath forms can be filled from the browser, or you can also fill them through the InfoPath Filler. To work in disconnected mode you need InfoPath installed on your machine. You can then download the InfoPath form and fill it later in disconnected mode through the InfoPath Filler. However, you cannot fill the form from the browser when disconnected from the network.

Q. How can I write custom code for InfoPath?

A. You need to install Visual Tools for Office to write custom code for InfoPath. This enables you to handle the various events for the InfoPath form and write .NET code in Visual Studio 2010.
