Now that David has had his first meeting and has created the Opportunity entity and captured some details about The Coffee House, he decides to meet with his sales manager to talk about his final approach and technique.

David sends out an appointment activity request to John Brown, sales manager. He creates this appointment in Outlook and links it to his Microsoft Dynamics CRM calendar by choosing the Track in CRM option in the CRM Outlook client. He also sets a regarding, which allows David to pick another entity to relate to the appointment. He associates the appointment to John’s company, the Coffee House. This helps David capture appointments related to The Coffee House in the Microsoft Dynamics CRM history.
