What to Do When a Buyer Doesn’t Pay

Most eBay buyers are good folks; they pay quickly for the items they win or purchase. Some buyers, however, are less reliable; some, in fact, never pay.

What do you do when you have a non-paying buyer in one of your eBay transactions? Fortunately, you still have the merchandise, which you can relist and (hopefully) sell again. You are out some eBay fees, however—although you can probably get them refunded when you report the non-paying buyer to eBay.

If you are unfortunate enough to get stuck with a non-paying buyer, there is a set procedure to follow:

1. Contact the non-paying bidder

2. File an Unpaid Item ...
