Why You Want to Track Error Pages on Your Site

Tracking the pages people visit on your site even means tracking those pages they shouldn’t visit or had no intention of visiting. We’re talking error pages—those pages that were linked to or entered directly that don’t actually exist.

When a visitor clicks on a broken link to a missing page or enters a URL to a page that doesn’t exist, they typically see a standard “Error 404” or “Page Not Found” page.
