In Lesson 7, “Adding Photos to a Text Post,” I explained how to add photos to a text post, including how to flow text around a photo. This is one of two methods that Tumblr offers for posting photos.
The other is the photo post, which creates a post consisting entirely of one or more photos and, optionally, a caption. This approach highlights the photo(s) and keeps any words well out of the way.
