Menu Painter Object Components

From the Menu Painter Initial Screen, you can select the following options or subobjects to display, change, create or test:

  • Status

  • Interface Objects

  • Status List

  • Menu bars

  • Menu list

  • F–key settings

  • Function list

  • Title list

Status

Selecting the Status subobject from the main Menu Painter screen brings you to the Display Status screen. This tool is a little easier to work with than the Graphical Screen Painter, but it still requires ABAP programming skills. From the Display Status screen, you program the functions for the different items in the menu bar, application toolbar, standard toolbar, and function keys; see Figure 18.12 for an example.
