Although not widely adopted yet, SAP MI promises great potential for SAP NetWeaver solutions in the coming years. SAP MI lets you SAP-enable applications that are not SAP-based, and it helps you extend SAP applications out to mobile devices that might otherwise require a proprietary and expensive alternative means of integration into your system.
