Hour 13. Other Enabling Technologies
Beyond the components discussed in Hour 12, “SAP BI, KW, and MDM,” that make up SAP NetWeaver, a number of corollary yet very important additional components exist as well. These include SAP Enterprise Portal, Exchange Infrastructure, Mobile Infrastructure, and xApps. Although you can argue that some of these represent solutions in their own right, I take the approach that all these are enabling technologies—products that can stand on their own in some capacity, certainly, but tend to coexist with other components to augment or offer true end-to-end business functionality.
