Understanding Site Administration Tools
As a Site Administrator, you will need to become very comfortable with the tools available to make necessary changes to the site. Users who are not Site Administrators will not be able to access some of these areas, and for good reason. If a user who does not understand what he or she is doing makes the wrong changes, it can severely impact the site.

 | Remember, SharePoint does not have an “undo” button, so any changes you make are set. This is why it is a good idea to back up your SharePoint site often, especially when you are just getting used to the concept of site administration. |
