The next options are for numerical metadata. Excel users will see the similarity here, as in Excel you can define the contents of cells to be numerical as well. These options are also available from the Add Column page (referenced as fldNew.aspx in the URL) shown in Figure 9.4.
Number— You can set the number of decimal places as well as set a minimum and maximum value for this field. If, for example, the field is for a rating system entry, you might limit the minimum value to 1 and the maximum value to 10.
