Summary

This lesson covered two important tools for accessing SharePoint sites: Internet Explorer 6.0 and My Network Places. IE is easy to use on the surface, but it hides a large number of configuration options “under the hood.” This lesson also gives some insight into using favorites, IE zones, and working with the user authentication settings.

The process of adding a network place is described, along with using the network place to see the folders and files with a SharePoint site.
