Q&A

Q1:I've noticed that when reading man pages with less, many other keystrokes (in addition to the ones listed in Table 18.2) seem to have some effect. Is there help inside less about the available keystrokes?
A1: Press h while reading a man page or using the less pager to get a list of the available keystrokes and commands.
Q2:Why do some commands seem to have both man and info documentation available? Isn't this redundant?
A2: Yes and no. Generally speaking, when both man and info documentation for a specific command is available, the info documentation is more complete; the man page has been provided simply to ensure that users who aren't familiar with info can still find documentation.
