Beginning the Installation

After the graphical installer starts, a welcome screen for the Fedora Core 4 installation process appears, as shown in Figure 2.1.

Screens in the default installer contain the following components or areas:

When clicked, the Release Notes button displays a dialog box containing specific additional information about this release of Fedora Core 4.
The Activity Panel is the area of the screen that you, the user, interact with as the installation process progresses.
