Receiving TrackBack Pings
Obviously, sending TrackBack pings to other Web sites is only half the fun. Movable Type can also be set up to receive and display TrackBack pings sent to your own entries so that your readers can join in, too.
Setting the Default TrackBack Preferences
Movable Type allows you to control its TrackBack system from multiple levels. We've already seen the global settings that can be made in the mt.cfg file. At the next layer are the default preference settings for each weblog you publish. These options can be set from Movable Type's administration interface.
