Q1:I don't want any categories at all. Is that a problem?
A1: Not at all! You don't have to use categories if you don't want to. Simply don't create any. For very simple diary-style sites, a system of complex categories may in fact be unnecessary. However, the advantages in terms of archiving, cross-referencing, and sharing content using categories are many, so be sure to consider your options carefully prior to making a hard and fast decision on whether to include categories with your weblog.
Q2:How many categories can I create?
A2: As many as you want, as far as we can tell! If there's a limit to the number of categories you can create for your weblog, we haven't reached it.
