Adding Database Options
Typically, your server should already have Berkeley DB or MySQL installed. One of these is necessary to run Movable Type. Additionally, you may want to have other Database modules installed. This section will help you with both.
Installing Berkeley DB
To install Berkeley DB on a Windows-based server, follow these steps:
1. | From the Start menu, select Start, Run. |
2. | In the Run dialog, type ppm to run the Perl Package Manager. |
3. | At the ppm prompt (ppm>), type the command install DB_File. |
