email body— The section of an email message that includes the text of the message.
email header— The preliminary section of an email message, consisting of informational fields and associated values.
email reader— A client email application that is responsible for sending mail, retrieving mail, and managing the user interface through which the user interacts with the mail system.
email virus— A software virus propagated as an attachment to an email message.
Internet Message Access Protocol (IMAP)— An enhanced mail retrieval protocol that provides several features not available with POP. For instance, you can access mail messages without first downloading the messages from the server.
