Searching on the Web

You can browse the Web to your heart's content by using Excel to start Microsoft Internet Explorer. You don't have to leave the program and start Internet Explorer or any other browser you might normally use. First, you need to connect to go online, and then just use the Web toolbar in Excel. You can enter a uniform resource locator (URL) and search for a specific Web page or browse around the Web at any time.

URL Stands for Uniform Resource Locator; similar to a filename or address. The Web uses it to locate the Web page.
