Summary

In this hour we examined a number of DataGrid examples. Specifically, we saw how to use the DataGrid, the SELECT Data Method Code Builder, and a TextBox Web control to allow the user to view information about a particular customer in the Customers table. We looked at how to format the Date Became Customer column so that only the date, and not date and time, was shown. Finally, we created a Books database table and examined how to add a HyperLink column that would, when clicked, take the user to the book's informational page at BarnesAndNoble.com. We also saw how to format DataSource values as currencies.
