Chapter 8. Using Internet Explorer 6

We've already spent a fair amount of time talking about browsing and Web communications, and you've seen a lot of figures that include screens from Microsoft Internet Explorer.

There might be a part of you wondering why those screens don't look exactly like the screens you see on your computer. That's an easy one—you're probably using a different version of Explorer than I am.

In this chapter, we'll take a look at the Explorer program. We'll cover its features and offer some tricks and tips for using the program. After all, if you're going to be using the Internet, you might as well get accustomed to the software through which you'll view it. (Netscape Navigator is covered in Chapter 9.)
