Setting Up Your HTTP Access Logs

The WebLogic Server provides facilities for log rotation of HTTP Access Logs. HTTP Access Logs can be created using the Common Log Format or Extended Log Format. Also, the HTTP logs can be created for a server or for a virtual host. The link to configuring the HTTP Access Logs for virtual hosts is described above. For servers in the administration console and for every server located under the services node, you will find a tab for Logging that contains a check box to enable HTTP Logging. Here you can define the format of the HTTP log file, the HTTP request buffer emptying frequency, and the rotation type and size of the rotation backup file. You can even create a file at a specified time using Rotation.
