1:What is the location of the Sendmail binary on FreeBSD?

  1. /usr/bin/sendmail

  2. /usr/local/sbin/sendmail

  3. /usr/sbin/sendmail

  4. /usr/libexec/sendmail/sendmail

A1: Either C or D are correct—trick question! /usr/sbin/sendmail is what you would call from a program or the command line; but it's really a “wrapper” that calls /usr/libexec/sendmail/sendmail. If you were to “drop in” Postfix as a replacement, /usr/sbin/sendmail would simply change where it pointed.
2:What file do I edit to add aliases to the system?

  1. /etc/aliases

  2. /etc/mail-aliases ...
