  1. Understanding the different types of projects and the file structures are extremely important. To see what each project type offers and how each one looks, select a few different types of applications from the New Project dialog. Look to see what files are added to your solution and where the files are located.

  2. Using Dynamic Help, do a search for .sln, as Figure 2.29 demonstrates. From this help link, read about the different file types and extensions that make up solutions, and read the related topics that link in this file.
