Chapter 2. Image Collection and Management

The first step in any graphics project is to assemble the images that you’re going to be working with. Next, you must cull the images you need from all the images you have available. This can be an important part of the creative process. You can store thousands of images on a compact disk, but you’ll likely use only a few dozen in a Web site. Choosing just the right images can be critical, and being able to find them later is always a plus.
