A1: No. This hour discussed open platforms usable for creating pretty much any type of Web application. There’s another, even longer list of products that are designed for specific applications like publishing Web content or developing electronic commerce sites. Some of those products are built on top of the products mentioned here.
Q2: Does my ISP support (insert CGI alternative here)?
A2: I don’t know. Many CGI alternatives are complicated and expensive. Others pretty much require that you have a server dedicated to your application. That means that you won’t be able to host your application in a shared hosting environment ...
