Macromedia ColdFusion

ColdFusion is an application server that was originally available for Windows Web servers. Since its release, it has been ported to Solaris and HP-UX, and Linux. It supports a number of Web servers, including Apache, MS Internet Information Server, Netscape, iPlanet, and JRun. ColdFusion is similar to JSP, PHP, and ASP in the way that it operates. To create dynamic pages, you simply embed the special ColdFusion tags into your Web pages, and the ColdFusion application interprets those tags and inserts standard HTML in their place before the document is sent to the user.
