Server Response Codes
In the example I used previously, the server sent the response code 200 OK to the browser. There are a lot more server response codes that are commonly sent to the browser by Web servers. Table 6.1 contains the categories of server response codes. After I introduce the categories, I will discuss a few specific server response codes that are used frequently. A complete list of server response codes and what they indicate is included in Appendix C.
