About the Technical Editors
Doug Ellis has worked in the software business for more than 15 years. He graduated from Indiana University with a degree in accounting, and obtained his CPA and MBA while working in various Fortune 500 finance roles. His finance background led him to the accounting software market, where he assisted clients in selecting and implementing various accounting packages. It was through these projects that Doug began to provide custom database programming for multi-user applications. His experience expanded into network implementation for Novell networks and Windows NT, leading him to obtain his Microsoft Certified Professional status including SQL administration.
