Summary and Final Thoughts
Even though ADO.NET was very recently released, you can see that things will continue to change as new server products such as SQL Server and subsequent versions of VS .NET are released. In both cases, however, a solid foundation in ADO.NET will make it easier to adjust to the changes because they incorporate many of same concepts and programming elements.
Over the last 21 days, you've journeyed through the depths of ADO.NET and have come to a fuller understanding of its goals, features, limitations, and promise for developing applications using VS .NET and the .NET Framework.
