A Quick Overview of CSS

A cascading style sheet (referred to as just a style sheet from now on) enables you to control formatting options for a limitless number of HTML elements in a single place. The style sheet exists as a file in your Web project that typically has a .css extension. In this file, you place formatting information for HTML tags, as well as any custom types (called classes) that you want. If you include this file into any of your existing Web forms, the Web forms will automatically pick up the formatting from the CSS file. These concepts are best grasped by looking at some examples.
