Adding a Last Modified Date

There are two ways that you can add a last-modified date to your Web page: a server-side include and Dreamweaver's Date object. A server-side include takes the last modified date from the file attributes of the page. Dreamweaver's Date object simply updates the date (and time) every time you edit and saves the Web page in Dreamweaver. Earlier in this hour, you saw the code that can be included to add a last-modified date via a server-side include. Now you will learn about Dreamweaver's Date object.
