Making Changes to a Library Item

Edit library items by opening the item to add or change objects in the Document window. Don't worry about the page background color when editing library items; the item will appear on the background color of the page it is inserted in. After you've inserted your previously created library item into a page, open the library item to edit it. Apply different formatting to some of the objects in the item.

After you are finished editing, save the library item. Dreamweaver will ask you whether you want to update all of the documents in the Web site that contain the library item, as shown in Figure 22.9. Select the Update button to automatically update all linked library items.
