Q1:How can I apply a behavior to a layer that is hidden?
A1: You can select a hidden layer in the Layer panel. Switch to the Behavior panel, without selecting anything else, and apply the behavior. Or you can temporarily set the layer to visible, apply the behavior, and then rehide the layer.
Q2:How can I create a button that triggers a behavior?
A2: We'll cover forms and buttons in Hour 19, “Creating a Form and Using a Form to Collect Data.” Place a button without a form into the Web page to trigger a behavior. Insert a button from the forms tab of the Insert bar. If Dreamweaver asks you if you'd like to add a form tag, you can say no. The trick is to make sure the button is not a submit or reset button.
