Adding a Caption from the Table Tab of the Insert Bar

Most of the commands in the Table tab of the Insert Bar are only active when you view your Web page in Code View. These commands are meant for Dreamweaver users who prefer to handcode their HTML. Using the Table tab is the only way you can add the <caption> tag to your Web page, adding a caption to your table.

To add a table caption

1.	Select Code View or the split Code and Design Views.
2.	Place the insertion point immediately after the open <table> tag.
3.	Select the Table tab of the Insert bar.
4.	Select the Table Caption command. Dreamweaver adds paired <caption> tags to the Web page, placing the cursor between the two tags.
5.	Enter a caption for your table between the <caption> tags.
