Installing the Software
A standard Windows or Macintosh installation program installs Dreamweaver. The installation program creates all of the necessary directories and files needed to run Dreamweaver on your hard drive. Dreamweaver also installs the Macromedia Extension Manager, a program that helps you install Dreamweaver extensions that you can download free from the Internet.
