Creating a Custom Snippet

You explored using snippets, the bits of code that are available from Dreamweaver's Snippet panel. You can also create custom snippets out of code that you use repetitively. This can speed up development of your Web pages as well as maintain consistency in your code.

First, create a new snippets folder to hold your custom snippets. Click the New Snippet Folder button, shown in Figure B.1. Give your new folder a name.
