Macromedia's Flash has long dominated vector graphics display on the Web; as such, developers are curious as to how SVG compares with this technology. Both SVG and Flash offer small file sizes and were created to deliver vector graphics online. Both feature a wide array of features designers seek, including alpha channel transparency, typographic support, and animation.
