Triggers enable you to create complex business rules for your database without having to code them into your application program. You saw how cascading triggers and nested triggers provide slightly different abilities to your application. In addition, you saw how to use triggers to maintain derived information within the database tables, and how to keep multiple copies of that database updated. Finally, you learned how to use triggers to create an audit log for any modifications in the database.
