Q1:Will the JavaBeans Development Kit be upgraded into a fully featured bean programming tool?
A1: At the time of this writing, Sun continues to state that the BDK is intended for testing beans and providing a reference version of how beans should be used inside development environments. It appears that professional programming tools, such as Visual Café and others, are going to remain the best choice for JavaBeans development.
