Real Estate Listing Markup Language

If you've ever purchased real estate, you know that many different characteristics can be listed about a property. Furthermore, the goal of both buyers and sellers of real estate is to create a database that can be searched via the Web and in which new entries can be created by realtors that are generally computer novices.

The Real Estate Listing Markup Language, or RELML, is a set of four different XML vocabularies:

  • Residential

  • Commercial

  • Vacant land

  • Working land
