Q1:I'm a very fast and efficient programmer. Why should I use XML templates when I can code the solutions myself?
A1: Unless you have a great deal of time on your hands (which is unlikely if you're a good programmer), there's no reason to build what the XSL templates provide for free. The templates can also be directly embedded inside the HTML code, making them as easy to incorporate as a scripting language.
Q2:Why is the sorting done by the order-by command based on alphabetical order rather than numerical order?
A2: The default data type for all data is text. Without some additional processing to convert the data into a number, the ordering must be alphabetical.
