Day 20. Office 2000 and Web Components
Today you will learn about using Microsoft Office 2000 to create Web content. We will explore the Office Web Components (OWC) and how they can be used to enhance a solution. You will use DHTML to do some quick OWC work. This chapter prepares some components that will be used in our Digital Dashboard in Day 21, "Implementing Digital Dashboards in Windows DNA Applications."
The Microsoft Office Web components fit nicely into the presentation tier of the Windows DNA platform. They are ActiveX components and therefore are on the rich side of the capability spectrum.
