Q1:I want every browser to be able to view my pages and have my Web site look good. Why is that so difficult?
A1: There are many browsers out there. Every time you create a new Web site or do some major work on an existing one, you have to ask yourself, "Who will be viewing the site?" Do you make the site a richer experience for the 80% of people who will come, making it not nearly as good for that other 20% whose browsers don't support richer client capabilities? The other option—do you degrade the site so it works for everyone, but so that 80% group doesn't have nearly as good of an experience?
