Today's lesson taught you about Active Server Pages. You learned about how IIS processes ASP pages and the script tags that the ISAPI filter looks for in a page. You also read about the built-in objects that are available on a page such as the Request and Response objects. State was also addressed by talking about Session and Application objects as well as cookies. Finally page transactions were discussed along with how to add transactional capabilities to your Web page.
