Web Forms and Web services are a new way to develop Web-enabled applications.

ASP+ Web forms are a language-independent way to construct user interfaces. Web forms execute on the server, enabling them to adapt to different user browser capabilities. Web forms are built with the exact same technology that you have used previously to develop user interfaces. For performance reasons, Web forms are made up of two parts, HTML pages and compiles executable code, both run on the Web server. The creation of Web Forms is identical to the way that forms are created in Visual Basic.
