Developing Your Project

Visual Modeler has given you the skeleton for the classes you are going to develop. Now you will learn how to configure your project properties and add both public and private functionality to the class. Properly configuring your project includes configuring how it will compile, setting the name of the component and other project level properties.

After configuring the project you will add public functionality to it, which involves creating the methods and properties of the class that are available to applications that use the component. An example of this would be a public GetAccountActivity function that a Visual Basic client application can call on to find the balance of an account.
