Using SourceSafe

SourceSafe was introduced in Day 2, "Building a Windows DNA Application." This lets you work in a team environment by controlling who has access to important files, and also to track project files changes. Even in writing this book, I am using SourceSafe to track the changes to the chapters of the book as it is being written. No more need to have multiple directories for different copies of your projects. All this is kept in one place.

You might be wondering just how SourceSafe allows you to track your changes and work with files. In some respects you can think of SourceSafe as a public library.
