Putting COM Components into an MTS Package

The MTS Explorer is used to place COM components into MTS. The MTS Explorer is a Microsoft Management Console (MMC) snap-in. MTS Explorer enables the management of components and packages including

  • Creating, deleting, or exporting a package

  • Adding or deleting one or more components of an existing package

  • Changing a package's properties, including its description, security settings, and identity and activation type

  • Monitoring transaction statistics
